My friend is a clinician who spends months every year living out of his living quarters horse trailer at the locations where he is teaching. He'd like to have a tent extension that will preferably be attached permanently to the side, rolled up for transport, and provide a space he can entertain the participants in and give them a place out of the weather to gather. Nice if it had a choice of screen or solid walls to attach. Would appreciate advice about quality manufacturers.

I know some of the awning manufacturers make wall-extensions to create a screened room, basically close in the 3 sides. Not sure if that would work to give enough room for what your friend wants to do. I have seen them on toyyhaulers and rv's...
