I find outstanding customer service to be a rarity anymore which is why it was so refreshing to deal with Randy Stamper the sales & marketing manager at Hart Trailers and Ty Andrew at Stephenville Trailers. I'll be pulling my new Hart Medallion 2H BP trailer from Oklahoma to my home in Fairbanks, Alaska next week.

Ty Andrew at Stephenville Trailers promptly returned all my phone calls and emails, answered every one of my questions, was always polite and available and sold me a great trailer at a fair price. Randy Stamper at Hart Trailers invited me over for a complete tour of the plant as well to see my new trailer just after it had been completed. Randy spent a whole afternoon showing me around and answering all my questions as well as hanging around after closing because I was still looking my trailer over. Every question or request I had for either Hart or Stephenville Trailers was shared with each other. The communication between Hart and its dealers seems like a family affair. I just can't more highly recommend Hart Trailers or Stephenville Trailers.

I really appreciated all the information I garnered from this forum. It was my principal source in deciding on which trailer and what features.

Cheers,

Tom Simpson

It's too bad that there isn't a way, to make a data base for positive dealership experiences. A long time ago, we had an "Attaboy" list that was started for the same reason. Unfortunately after a year, any previous info cannot be "searched".

A sticky that could be amended with current dealership info, would be most welcomed. There are several that have served our membership well, and they would be a good resource to use.

Back in the 80's my late husband and I were just riding around Ok. Thanksgiving weekend and drove by the Hart plant and were looking at trailers on the lot.  Someone drove up, the plant was closed, to meet someone picking a trailer up.  I don't know who it was but they invited us to come in and look at the trailers being made at that time.  Super nice people back then even.  I have a Hart now and love it.  If I was to ever get another trailer it will be a Hart.

Hey "longearsruletwo", from your username I'm guessing that mules ride in your Hart trailer. Our new Hart trailer is for my wife's mule "Amos". Only the best for the "longears." Maybe Hart's new slogan should be, "We make the best Mule Trailers on the market".  What we own are Hart Medallion 2M BP Trailers.

Yeap, I have 5 of those wonderful animals.  I have a 3 mule trailer with 10' living quarters.  It was 3 yrs old when I bought it and have had it 6 yrs and it's still holding up great and I have pulled it many, many miles.  That would be a good slogan for Hart. lol

I picked up my trailer yesterday.. Ty was very polite and helpful and human. He answered my questions and didn't laugh at me for being a complete newbie to pulling a gooseneck.. They hitched it for me and changed the plug on the trailer, since it had the old round one.. I would definitely do business with them again. And to the nay-sayers out there, my Tundra had NO trouble pulling or stopping my new (to me) trailer. If anything, it seemed to pull better, with less drag, because my Hart BP was notoriously nose-heavy. We drove 7 hours through the hills with no issues whatsoever.

I’d posted about how well I was treated by Randy Stamper at Hart Trailer and as further praise to this company I’d like to thank Robert Peliti. I met with Robert last week when I picked up my new trailer and he couldn’t have been more helpful. Besides hooking up my trailer and helping adjust the brakes he spent time sharing all his trailer knowledge and tips regarding hauling & safety, cleaning, trailer features, anti-theft, etc.

I just finished applying 3 coats of Herculiner to the trailer floor and it turned out great. I’d like to thank gard for his posts and replies to my private messages.
