I have a 2001 Exiss 3 horse slant LQ trailer and I Will be brining home a 3 1/2 month old weanling in a few weeks. I really think it would be best to get the slants out and let him have the whole trailer. How do you get the slants out? They have a spring and everything on them, look like they might be bent a bit or something. Help!

Welcome to HTW...!!
Collapse your rear tack and tie the dividers in the open/folded against the short wall position. Knocking the pins and springs out to remove the dividers is easy with a couple people, but putting them back is another story.... Those springs will leave you with some nasty blood blisters if you're not carefull...!!

Hi Gina! How did it go with the weanling? I'm bringing home a 5 month old weanling soon and am worried about how she will do trailering the first time. Did you take out the dividers or tie them? Was the foal in the trailer alone and did okay? Thanks for the update.

Those babies haul better when they have an older horse with them for company, Put another horse In the next stall of course. Im afraid if you turn a baby loose in the trailer, they just might think they can get out those windows. Bars or not. Have seen it happen before. It's not a pretty picture. Just sayin..
