Im redoing the living quarters to a horse trailer that i recently bought. Trying to find out where i can get the supplies to do it my self such as sofas and cabinet work. Any info would be great thanks

Just bought some bathroom vanity cabinets from a non profit that sells donated pre owned building supplies here in Phoenix. Bathroom cabinets are generally not as deep as kitchen cabinets, thus making them more suitable for tight spaces. Got everything for $90. Now all I have to do is figure out what to do about the counter tops. My thoughts are to buy a standard slab of laminate and have it cut to size.
Good luck finding actual living quarter cabinets...I have been looking for awhile and have come up empty handed. But I'm optimistic about the bathroom vanity route.
You can also look on Craigslist in your town. They most likely will be listed under "household" or "materials" as bathroom vanity or cabinets. Of course you can order them from Home Depot or Lowe's but will pay quite a bit more.

I'd be curious to know when you get done...was it worth re-doing. And are you re-doing your own LQ or did you buy a trailer and are re-doing that? I have looked at a few for sale that had "LQ" but would be more trouble to rip out to start over-cabinets scabbed in, unmatched, crummy jobs, etc.
If you could get one for the right money, would it be worth it or would it be more work than it was worth is my question.

OK, I see where you said "recently bought", sorry. How much re-do are you doing? Total makeover, pulling everything out, changing floor plan, etc. Trying to decide which route to take myself. Thanks.

the trailer had a leak and got some water damage, needs new floor and sofa a few cabinets and wall stuff on one side, not really that much work, the side where the "kitchen" is and the bathroom are all fine. Got the trailer for a steal though.

Jaded, you may want to hire a mold specialist to check out your LQ. Molds in that confined of a sleeping area can really do a number on one's health. You may find that you will need to rip more of it out than you thought.

We are almost finished with our lvq. in our trailer. We bought made to order jackknife sofa from rvsupplies. Also bought matching material to cover our window valances. We purchased day night shades from jazzsales(great company to work with)also water tank from there. Our cabinets we purchased from local lumber yard and my husband altered them to fit they look as if they were made for the trailer. We put soft material on ceiling and the walls in the nose.The rest is finished in oak paneling.He built a closet out of the oak. The fridge and microwave are built in but are only on 110.We have a sink and the countertops will be formica. Love it!!
