I had borrowed a Classic coach with a Camco Catalytic heater in it.   I got to fire it up twice.  Seemed to work really well.   Anyone out there had long term use of one of these heaters in the LQ??     Good? Bad?   just asking.

While low oxygen and carbon monoxide are both concerns, they can be addressed with proper detectors to alert you. The one big side effect that you can't control is humidity. One by product of burning propane is water vapor. If you have to use the heater heavily you'll condensate water in the trailer which can lead to a host of problems from minor water stains on the wood to mold. Personally, I would only look at one of those as a last resort heater. If you camp a lot with out electricity in cold weather they'd be ideal since you don't need 12v to run one. I know from experience an RV furnace will drain a single battery almost overnight.
