The ac fan will run but wont cool down. We change out the starting compasser it was messed up and we installed the new one and there is no power getting from the starting compasser to the compesser . We have check all fuses and the one in the panel is good the one in the ac unit inside the unit is good. We are at our wits in on this trailer. So we are taking the starting comppaser back today. I havent had this trailer a month yet.The unit is a duo therm

It my have a low freon charge. There is a low limit pressure switch, that will prevent the compressor from engaging, when the coolant level is insufficient.

Since you seem to be able to do some electrical tasks...
Does the compressor even try to start? Connect your voltmeter to the line and measure the voltage as it tries to start. Below 100 volts and your power supply is too weak.
I assume your start capacitor is good since you've changed it.
Then ...
Disconnect the Power first ... Then disconnect the compressor leads. Measure the ohms between the motor leads. Should be some resistance but not a zero or infinite.
Then measure the resistance between each motor lead and ground. Should not be any electrical connection.
Any readings besides these and your compressor is Dead.

I haven't addressed the pressure switch since if the system is under charged, you won't be able to fix it without specialized tools and refrigerant.
Plus... In my experiance, a low charge means a leak. Charging a system without fixing the leak is a waste of time, effort and money. Unless you just want to get by for a short time.
But ... as a after thought .... Is the thermostat calling for the compressor to come on ??? Simple things first ...

Sounds like the thermostat. I had the same problem, Thry Ebay, found one in Colorado - guy rebuilts them. He sends you one and you send him your old one. After nearly a year fighting it, fixed it in less than half hour.

update the compesser is locked up going to a rv dealer monday to have a new one put in. the starting compasser was bad .Yet the dealer swears it was working there is no way it was working.
