From what I can find with a little searching on the net this is an older model that use the older type propane connections....I have the newer type connections on my trailer. It appears that the connection that would go to the grill has not changed so the current hose would work. Can I make this work with a adapter from the T to the cylinder?

Why no just use the Quick Connectors that are available for propane?
The threaded connectors are great for more permanent type of connections. But on a grill, Where you are settingup and putting away frequently. I lprefer the quick connect. Don't have to look for a wrench everytime I want to hook up.
Buy the connectos and go to any quality hose shop and hae them make you the proper length of hose.

I bought a hose to use with my grill from Coleman for about $15. I have a post that attaches to my tank and I can put my Coleman lantern right on the top and attach up to three hoses for grills, stoves or whatever.

I agree with Painted Horse, Quick Connectors is the only way to go....
I bought mine from Lowes and it has the turn off valve made on it. I got lucky on the part coming from the bottles, our trailer already had the line run to the side of the trailer for an external grille.
