I live in the Gulf Coast area of Texas. We are looking at getting a new living qrts trailer. I'm getting prices for different trailers with different conversion companies building out the living qrts.

One company just insulates the walls, roof and uses a mostiure barrier under the flooring. Now I can adding insulation to the flooring for an extra price. But I'm wondering is it nessecary??

Insulate the floor.... I know it gets mighty hot down your way, that insulation will help reflect that heat rising underneath the trailer. Do it right while the trailer is being built.... Your bare feet will be glad you did!!!
