Well I just got back from my first trip to Benson Mule Days in NC what a great time. There was something going on in two diffrent arenas each day for 3 days straight. They close down part of the city streets and set up all kind of vendor stands and the rest of the city streets are open to the Horses, Mules, Wagons, Carts and for some reason they allow golf carts. I guess they are for the ole timers that cant ride anymore. There was a full size carnival set up in one area and I have never seen so many diffrent kind of rigs to transport horses and wagons in my life. Some looked pretty scary to know they are out on public roads hauling. The web site says that it draws 60 to 70 thousand people each year and I believe it. This is one event you dont want to miss.
