Hi, I just bought a used 2007 Double D 4 horse trailer and wanted to do a weekender package in the dressing room. I would like to have electric and water with a cowboy shower and air conditioning with heat strip. I'm not sure where to start, what should be first?

Start with this website. todd.redwrench.com

Are you sure you want a heatstrip? Research some threads from previous posts about heatstrips.

We have a heat strip on our airconditioner and it does not provide enough heat.  Instead we use a small ceramic heater and it provides sufficient heat when we use the trailer in the fall or early spring.

The best way to start with a LQ is to write down what features you want to include, and determine what among them will fit into your space. This is most easily accomplished, by browsing the many photos of interiors, listed in the "trailer for sale" section of this web site.

Even a two or four foot short wall, is enough to provide ample space for a well thought out interior. The professional conversion companies, know how to package their interiors to best utilize the available space. Copying their plans and ideas will lessen the time of your learning curve, and reduce many potential mistakes.

Many of us have posted ideas about interiors, browsing the search feature will provide a multitude of ideas.
