We are getting parts together for our winter project of converting the large dressing room of our 2004 Sooner 3 horse GN into a weekender.
Instead of a conventional water heater, we are thinking of using a "tankless LPG" type, mount it in the LQ, vent it through the roof and keep the propane tank in a cabinet?
We would use a 25 gallon corner water tank and a 12 volt pump.
What are we forgetting?

First, do not mount your LPG tank inside the trailer.

I used one for a summer but camping during the fall it froze on me and did not work after that. If you are staying in warmer climate and can keep the trailer above freezing all the time when in use then it will work.

Thanks for the advice about freezing. We'll be using it out here in sunny California where freezing won't be an issue.
Thanks again.

You need to be careful with the tankless water heaters,  some are what they call a "draft system" which means they are not vented.  They pull the air out of the room through vents at the bottom of the unit and the exhaust gasses just rise out the top.  I just bought one from EZTankless.com.  the EZ202 with the intent of mounting in under the gooseneck on the shortwall by the spare tire.  that way you don't need to worry about CO2 or leaking propane gas.
