where would be a good place to stay the Mitchell Livestock yard, Cabella's, or boarding stable? I haven't made the phone call to check the price at the stable. It looks like a nice place. OOPs wrong forum. sorry.

We used hobby horse, easy to get to, friendly, we just stayed there this month.  Electric hookups too if you like.  We used the run in sheds with attached paddocks.......Great too, cuz it poured during the night.  Safe, and easy to get right back on the interstate.  Cabela's has pens, but no shed, also easy to get to I90.

I would check the rodeo grounds if its going to be just a quick stay cause it wold probably be free and no one would be around to bother you. I never keep horses at sales barn thats just asking for trouble w/ all animals going through there you don't no what they might be carrying.

I'm not sure I would just stop in and see if anyone is around. And even if its open and no one is around I doub that you would have a problem. I've stopped at alot of fairground in mt,nd,sd and wy and never had a problem.
