I had this brilliant idea that Command Strips would work but either I put them on wrong, or they don't really stick very well to that surface. I want to hang a lightweight mirror and a couple of hooks in the bathroom and I don't want to drill holes or permanently damage the walls. Any ideas?

In our 5th Wheel camp trailer, I used two way velcro. Comes in a box, hook side and sticky side. Nothing has fallen down yet. In fact was hard to get a picture off the wall with it to update the picture. It's the 3M brand and I found it at our local Rite Aide. I'm sure any local store similiar to that or Wally World or any hardware place would have some.

Did the velcro work for you?  I also tried the command strips and they didn't work.

The Velcro didn't work either. I think I'll call Outlaw and see if they have any recommendations.

The command strips with hooks have worked well for me.  They do have a 3# limit.

Just talked to the guys at Outlaw about this. They said there's really no adhesive that will really work with the soft walls - you need to use a screw if you want to hang something.

The velcro strips did not work? I'm shocked as it's the same interior siding I believe as they use in 5th wheel campers. It worked in ours and in my horse trailer......

Get the roll of 1 inch sticky side velcro and that has to work.  Put it on 4 sides of your picture or whatever and hold it on there for a minute. I can't believe that won't stick to the soft walls.

I'll try it again. Maybe I wasn't using enough for the item I was trying to hang.Once you get it to stick, can you get it off without ruining your wall?

That's the same stuff I told her to use. It's sticky on one side to attatch to the wall and the oppostie side is sticky to stick to the picture, mirror, etc. and you then stick the velcro together. I can't believe it won't work either....

It's made by 3M...

I can't get anything to stick on the soft walls either.  It holds for a while, but with the temperature fluctuations, it always turns loose.
