I just purchsed my first gooseneck trailer (2000 Sundowner)...but seller did not have any operator or owners manual....any suggestions of how to get a hold of an old one? I tried Sundowner...and they have not been very responsive.

Unless you have a LQ trailer, I don't think you get an operators manual for a simple horse trailer.  I bought my trailer new and never got one.  Didn't think I was suppose to.

The trailer has LQ (727 4H). So it would be helpful for insurance purposes (specs...GVW, etc) and to operate the appliances (including a/c), maintenace (structual, electrical etc)....

Almost every appliance manufacturer has online info about their products; IE operation, trouble shooting etc.

Is your LQ installed by SD or another conversion company? If it is another company, contact them directly and ask for info. Because the interiors are often custom made and designed, and change from year to year, obtaining accurate wiring prints is almost impossible. You will always have fuses and breakers, and the necessary power at the appliance. Hopefully the wiring in between is secure and won't need to be addressed.

A little bit of on line research, should result in solving most of your operational issues.

All good points. Unfortunately, it is 10 yrs old...so some of the items (a/c etc)...are older models. Also having read about Sundowner issues etc...I would hope that I could at least get spec's on trailer for maintenance.
