Look at a star performance hitch.  Many people deal them here, usually cheaper and easier than the others.  Talked to a dealer last week and he said he's no longer offering them as an option on his upper end trailers they come standard.  I know that doesn't answer your question just wanting to give you the info!

That looks like it would stop the back and forth but what I am looking for is something to soften the rough roads! I swear I think this Nations roads are falling apart!!!

I understand what your saying and the SP hitch does take the buck out of the trailer but it also seems to take the "hit" out of bumps.  They have a 30 day money back offer the last I knew.  Everyone I've talked into one so far have been quite pleased.  We use an f550 so it's going to ride harsh anyway, but the simple easy design of the SP makes the ride much better.  Have pulled same trailer with and without the SP and it makes a big difference.

I have not got to use one yet, but in my opinion it looks like if you have a larger trailer and really need to hit the brakess it will causes alot of rocking foward and backward action or even in stop and go traffic.  Would make me dizzy!  As far as just simple driving it looks good.

HTB, I thought the same thing and was skeptical.  I have yet to feel any rocking back and forth feeling from bumps and dips.  Been running it for about a year on two different trailers.  1st was 6h 10' LQ Platinum weighed about 13K empty 2nd is a 5h 14' Bloomer weighing in at 15k empty.  I've had my daughter drive while I've watched the hitch and you really can't even see it move.  We came thru Wichita Falls on that sheet of ice and snow on Christmas day and I can tell you I was happy to have it.  Never felt any rocking problems and I can tell you that ice was rougher than almost anything I've ever been on.  Was never so glad to find a place to pull off the road!!  Really feel like the hitch was fine.  Going down the bridges I had to ride the trailer brakes to keep it behind us and never felt anything "rocking".  I have noticed a little rock if the horses move around in the trailer, but that's about it.  Just my 2 cents, I don't sell them just really believe it works and I love simple!!
