I'm new here and hope you can all help me out. I did a search but couldn't find the answer to my question, so here goes..
I have a 2002 Featherlite 2H slant. I've had a lot of problems with the trailer since I got it, mostly with the issue of leaking. Water is coming into the dressing room not from the roof but from where the walls meet the floor.
We had the walls insulated and paneled when we got the trailer, so there's really no way to fix the problem from the inside. I was wondering if there was a special caulk we could use on the outside that would stick to aluminum.
The area that needs fixing is where the "running board" meets the wall.

A polyurethane caulking will water proof the seam and be long lasting. It is a much better product than the standard household type silicon caulking. It is available at most big box stores, well stocked hardware stores and marine suppliers.
