A little off topic, but I just had a surprise inspection of my chinchilla barn yesterday. Was I ever impressed!!!! I finally met a USDA employee who was not only intelligent, but had horse sense as well. The inspector was a female DVM who understands the difference between good animal husbandry and nit-picking an operator to death. She is smart, friendly, and down to earth. What an improvement!!
