I've been cruisin' through the horsetrailers adds pretty heavily here lately and have found some that I may be interested in.
My questions are

When is the best time of year to buy a trailer
and
Do the used trailers with LQ say in Oklahoma and Texas get musty, moldy or mildewy from the high humidity?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I have always found the best time to buy anything is when I need it. You may save a few hundred if you can wait until January but I can't see where the value is lower in any particular season. As far as musky smells ect. I don't think that is confined to TX, OK area. If the trailer has been taken care of and cleaned it shouldn't matter what area it's from. I would rather have a lightly used trailer from TX, vs a heavily hauled trailer from Montana.

Another question.  Are the prices on used high end LQ trailers coming down?  Is it because of the economy or do they tend to drop in price this time of year?

Both are reasons for the lower pricing
