I've been using a GN 3 horse slant load trailer that is on long term loan from my sister. However, I just purchased a truck camper and need to buy a car trailer to haul my jeep. Thinking it would be nice to have the truck camper at horse shows, thought it would be nice to get a 2 or 3 horse bumper pull. Can't afford two trailers, so was wondering if I could find a trailer that would do both jobs for me.
I only need to haul 2 horses but the ability to haul 3 would be nice so a friend could come along with my daughters. The vehicle I need to haul is a Jeep Scrambler that measures 84" tall, 76" wide, and 15' long. Does any one know of a bumper pull trailer that could switch between both jobs?

I don't think you'll find one already built that will do that but I could be wrong. I'm sure there are several trailer makers that can build a custom one to suit your needs.

The vehicle is an 82 Jeep Scrambler CJ-8. I won't have any doors on it to open it, nor will there be a top. So I can just climb out the back after driving it into the trailer.
I've thought about going custom, or startig with a wide deck trailer and then adding the enclosure. However, I would rather buy a prebuilt horse trailer and then modify as necessary to fit the jeep.
I only haul the jeep about 6 times a year, so having to remove a panel or two to carry it isn't a problem.
This was mainly a thought I figured was worth checking on.
Ohh, wait a minute. I bet you Blue Moon makes a trailer that'll do exactly what I need.

If you can't afford a little used 2/3 horse bumper pull trailer and a used el-cheapo car hauler trailer, then you won't be able to afford to have one built that serves both purposes. How wide is that Jeep? Most of these stock, 2 and 3 horse trailers are only 6', 6'9" maybe a few that's 7' or wider..... Look around for a used car hauler like this one.... They're cheap and easy to pull.

Look at the exiss website at the Stock BP trailers. I have one that is an Event STK-16. Hauls 3 horses; 7" tall with a large swing gate on the back. Mine has a tack room in the front. Exiss has lots of options for their stock trailers and would think something similar to what I have might work. You may have to order one with the height and width needed, but they are well built trailers that are very functional for hauling just about anything.

You could do it in a 3H stock/ slant combo. The trick will be to get a true 7' wide interior, that's at least 7 1/2' high. Three heavy horses weigh about the same as your Jeep.
We had an 18' stock combo with 5k axles, in which I routinely hauled my tractor. It was an excellent horse and everything else trailer.
