Hi everyone, I'm looking for a farm wagon that has sort of an authentic look to it if possible. I have a need for a wagon that a pair of light horses, or one heavy horse can pull.

Nancy: Wow what a wonderful website. Put my mini to the cart for the first time Friday. He did really well in spite of technical difficulties, one snap broke, harness went askew etc. He is going over to our friend on Saturday to be measured for new harness as the ex sm mini harness we have cannot be taken up enuf. My new driving bridle for my mare should be finished by then too. Deranger: You might check out the Smuckers auction (the closing sale of Smuckers Harness)not sure how far you are from an Amish community. I know you could get one built here but we are a ways from you I think. But if you would like to go trail riding/camping at Mammoth Cave, we would be happy to meet up with you and then introduce you to the Amish we know in the area.
This group holds a large carriage/driving and horse related equipment auction at the Lebanon, PA fair grounds at least twice a year. You can check the website for dates of upcoming auctions and you can get a catalog in advance, but there's always lots of good "stuff" that isn't catalogued. The auctions are held over a two or three day period. There's reasonable accomodations available in the area and pretty good PA dutch food available at the site.
