Where can I find the cheapest Rumber rubber sheets? I need something for the side walls of the stalls in my horse trailer, not the floors. I have found some magazines that sale it for about $88 for a 4'X8' and 3/16" thick. I was just wondering if there was a website or company that might sale it alot cheaper. Or would even consider a material of the same but not "labeled" as a 'horse trailer accessory'. If you have any suggestions, I sure would appreciate it.I am trying to restore my 1987 WW 2 horse trailer.I am happy with my wood flooring and floor mats in the trailer and not looking to replace those, just need something for the side walls. Thanks again.12

I know "Tractor Supply" has the rubber floor mats... They may have something you could use.

http://www.tractorsupply.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/DisplayCategory_10551_10001_170902_14525_-1_14499%7C14523%7C14525

Here's some that can be ordered to fit your straight load, they sell it by the foot.... http://www.horsetraileraccessorystore.com/trailer_mats.htm

You do know with rumber flooring you have to install additional cross braces under the rumber planks. You're conventional wood floor cross braces are too far apart to adequately support rumber. You can buy it at Redneck Trailer Supply. The rubber floor mats he was referring to are to go over the wood floor. They are too heavy to hang on the walls. Are you wanting material for your walls or for flooring? Redneck has either one.

I like my wood flooring with rubber stall mats. I am just looking for wall covering that is about 1/8" thick X 48" width and 20ft in length. It will be mounted on the side walls of the horse trailer stalls.I would like to find someone who sold these in a roll.I've heard plenty (not-so-good) stories on the Rumber flooring and the Werm material. So I plan on keeping the wood flooring with stall mats.

Redneck should have a selection of wall matting in sheets or rolls. Check their website for a complete description of what they offer.

I've read that it gets very slippery when there is urine on the floor. That it has no grip. But thats just what I've read on sites.I don't have it in my trailer, nor have I ever used it. But this is just what I've found along the way. It could be wrong since it is other peoples thoughts and observations.

I checked. Closet Redneck depot is in Missouri. There is a trailer supply house in Arkansas (used to be in Quitman). Name is Lucky B Trailer supply. You might try that. Also, check online at Valley Vet supply. They carry some trailer parts & accessories.

I bought mine from Valley Vet; they were the cheapest I have found. They are up to about $78 but still cheaper than what you have found. I have never been sorry I did that, really like it on my front wall. Haven't quite figured out how to do the sides yet as there are some angles to consider but would do it again in a heartbeat.

I recently bought some rubber in a roll that was made for walls it is about 48 inches high and has sticky on the back side but it is not sticky enough to hold as per where I bought it. I bought a whole roll for $100 which they said would do my whole three horse trailer. I bought this from trailer world in BG Ky, they are closing it out because the sticky is not sticky enough to hold, but I have screws in my traler holding up the current wall rubber. Hope this helps.

I've had 2 trailers with rumber floors and wish my current trailer had them as well.  They are wonderful material for floors and aren't slippery.  I kept the 2nd trailer for 10 years and the floor still looked new after heavy use. These trailers also had sheets of ABS on the walls instead of rubber or rumber and I really liked that as well.

With rubber walls a horse can gouge out pieces if they kick, no damage with the ABS.

We have had WERM floors in our trailers since 2001. If it was installed properly, there is no way it could be slippery unless it had been cleaned with something like Armorall! The rubber floor mats as seen in over 90% of the trailers out there are going to be much more slippery than WERM flooring ever would be. Some people use other types of "spray" in bed liner material and complain that it is slippery but I have never heard anyone say that their WERM floor was slippery.

We overhauled our two horse bumper pull two years ago... We used marine plywood and glued dairy panels to it for the walls of the horse compartment. We also had bedliner (white) sprayed on the inside, ceilings and upper walls. So far, we are very pleased with it all and it is easy to simply hose out when we pull the floor mats and really clean it..
