My gooseneck trailer has the big black plug that plugs in under the bumper. Everythings works perfectly, but I have the small round gray plug in the bed and was wondering about changing the plug over to fit it. Any suggestions?

You will have all the wires you need in the silver round plug (6 way) except for a back up circuit wire which is additional in a 7 way (big black plug). You do not need that hooked up. The wire color codes in the two plugs are different so you have to make sure the terminal connections are correct if you wire from the 6 way to the 7 way.

Heck - I just plug in my GN BIG black plug to the under the bumper receptacle on my truck. No holes in the bed of the truck. : ) (other than the ones holding the GN hitch rails)
