Just read about the North American Horse Fest in Novi Michigan on November 7-9. Is anyone going? Someone gave me an July 2008 "Saddle Up" magazine and it was there. I am trying to get my family and some friends to go. I am going on Saturday and possibly Sunday.

I went to it once but that was awhile ago and I found it interesting. We just bought our horse so everything was new to us. It is like the one in Lansing but more people friendly (that is how my family put it). My family thought the one in Lansing was more business but my sister loves to go to that one. The Birch Run Expo everyone enjoyed. So I am sure we will try to go to all three. If your there I hope to see you and if you miss it I hope to see you at another Expo.

The Expo in Novi this year, is being put on by a different production company. I THINK it may be one connected with the Birch Run production, butI'm not sure.
It won't have the horse activity that the Lansing one does, because Novi (Rock Financial Showplace) does not have a stadium, full-size arena as Lansing does. They haul the dirt in, and do some clinics and maybe some round pen work. Then, the dirt gets hauled out. (Ugh... try packing up a vendor booth when they're doing THAT).
I'll be there on Sat... Frankie - if you are new to horses and want to hook up with some other Michiganders .. go to http://www.horsepage.com/board/wwwboard.html there's a few folks from Almont, Armada, Richmond, areas that post on the board.
Michigan Horse Page people wear small blue ribbons - if they remember!!
