Have you got some directions from Jackson? I will post this up this way with some of my FFA kids that ride and are in need of community service hours for us.

Barbequed chicken plates will be ready when the ride returns. Mr. Billy King, of the Big Black Creek Historical Association, will be giving a talk about the history of this area, which includes some humorous and colorful events of the past. This talk should begin about 1 p.m.

Yes....I can accomodate several rigs at my place with water hook ups. Electric may be possible but a better bet would be to use a generator. I have 2 gen sets that I will make available. My farm is about 5 miles from the Mercer fire station. PM me if you would like to camp. I also have very nice riding available from my place.

Hey. We are thinking about coming up to ride with y'all a bit. We are going to the St. Jude Ride Sept. 29-30 in Alamo, but would love to make the Mercer ride too. Will have to see what the schedule is like closer to the 15th. If we can come it would just be for the day. Hope to see you.

Jan we are definately coming to the Mercer ride. How will I know you or others from this site?
I'll be in a green F250 pulling a big old 3H silver steel trailer. I will ride my bay mustang and my wife will be on a big blue roan QH. Looks like FINE weather compared to what we've had the past three weeks. Looking forward to it.

walkin,
Our St. Judes ride (in Florida) you either pay or you have people pledge your ride, and yes, all that money goes to St. Judes, than we use the money we make off of food and auctions, ect to help pay for some of our expenses and the rest of that money goes to St. Jude.

You are only an 11 hour drive from Pensacola.... We packed up one weekend and headed that way to ride. However, I can't say that I would ever do it again though...
