Hello, i just bought a 1947 2H BP trailer. It is in need of TLC. We are sanding it down, primering it, repainting, replacing floors, and also have to replace the tires. The people we bought it from had two diffrent tires on it. One street tire and one all terrain tire. My question is how do i find out what tires to buy and put on it? Also any suggestions on what else i should do? It is a awsome all steel VINTAGE trailer with awsome wheel wells. So once it is all done im sure it will be amazing and one of a kind. Thanks!

I have been around alot of the old trailers and first off is it a single axle?? most all trailers back in the day had 15 or 16 " rims and were running 700x15 or 700x16 tires that were 6 ply at best, about any good 10ply tire today will be more than enough for a trailer that size but one thing you need to watch for is the rims, they are probably tube tires and not for tubless.
