I really like Deep Creek Horse Camp in Bryson City NC. www.deepcreekhorsecamp.com. I have friends who have stayed at Orchard Cove in Townsend TN and they really liked it. www.orchardcovestables.com

Thanks for the info I will check those out, I was in the area last week and rode horses in severeville at waldens creek stables but would love to take my own, I checked out a place inside the park on the NC. side but looked like rental horses I also heard that you can ride your own horses in Cades Cove.

I believe that you can get to Cades Cove from the Orchard Cove Stables but you should double check that!

The Big Creek campground, located at the state line (NC and Tenn) on I40, Waterville exit is a nice camp. No electric but a nice bath house and it's right in the Smokies. Operated by the national Park. Sorry, I don't have phone #. Great Mtn riding from there.

I second Deep Creek. You can ride to the Cade's Cove area from Orchard Cove but you will see more if you also trailer over that way for the day. It's a 15 minute drive but worth it. You will love either area. They were hit pretty hard by the storms though.
