Anyone who has experience pulling both a 4 Star and a Bloomer please let me know if one of them pulls better. I am considering selling my 2000 4 Star (4 H), and picking up a 2000 Bloomer (3 H) and would like to know how they compare when pulling them down the road.

You've asked the same question on three different posts...... Why not go hook to it and pull it yourself, somewhat of a test drive.... What pulls fine to me may pull like crap to you or it may be the other way around.... Do both trailers weigh about the same, do either one have a hay rack, hay pod, generator on the roof, How tall are these trailers, 7', 7'6", 8'? You'll have to decide on your own. I have a 4 Star 6 horse head to head that pulls and stops alot better than the Cherokee 6 horse head to head of the same size that I sold last spring. Good luck with the Bloomer, they look like first class trailers!!

Paul. I've got the perfect motor for your tow vehicle. It works perfectly with a 2HBP trailer.

I really surprised at your snippy answer. I'm new to this posting thing. Did you ever think that the trailer might be hundreds of miles away? To bad you are a legalistic, judgmental person. Maybe you should take off the christian footer if you can't walk the talk?

Well Melinda, as a newby member and poster, it is often wise to know the territory in which you've stepped, before you start trying to kick butt. Retendo has a long history of helping people solve their many problems. He has an extensive mechanical back ground, has a family history of showing, and has owned and driven many rigs of many sizes over many miles.

He is one of our most valued posters, and his sense of humour is well endeared by many of our membership. He knows what he's talking about and is not afraid to tell it like it is. You can do much worse by not taking his advice.

When you ask the same audience three times the same question, and then complain about the answers you receive, you may have silence for your next query. Take a chill pill or deep breath. We're here to help, we enjoy doing so, and if given some respect, will continue doing so.

Thank you for your response. I hear what you are saying, but the multiple posting was not intentional. As a newbie, we make mistakes. I would hope that an experienced person could be more tolerant, but we all have our days.

Even though they were each worded differently....

That was no "snippy answer"!!! You asked a generic question expecting a scientific answer, we need more info.... Anyway, you got any pictures of these trailers? what do they each weigh? No body will or can give you an accurate answer without some facts about each trailer.... Now feel free to answer our questions, so maybe we can help!!

This is not an excuse for the multiple postings...but being new, I couldn't find the posting and thought it didn't go thru. I reposted, not knowing the original was there. And maybe how three posting got uploaded was because it told me I needed to be a registered user so I didn't think it submitted... so maybe you can better now. UBE (User brightness error) or ID10T I don't have the specifics, but here are the pictures for both trailers:d Bloomer - http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=2947504 Star - http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=280507Th... 4 Star only has a LQ shell - so the weight is most likely less, but it is .6 inches taller and wider than the bloomer and is 1 ft. longer. It also has a ramp, which the Bloomer does not.

Your links didn't work... Here's the 4 Star...  http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=280507

The Bloomer link has too many didgits, the "4" in 4 Star bled over into the address..... This may be the one...  http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=294750

I'm guessing the Bloomer is the heavier of the two. Bet they'll pull about the same but the Bloomer will carry more weight onto the truck.

I own currently own both brands of trailers. They are very similar in the way they pull. I like both brands, obviously since I have owned many. You should be happy  with either brand. I do consider them to be apples to apples in comparison. Although, I  like the dividers and the windows better in the Bloomer.
