I found a new door for about 1/2 the cost of what the local dealership told us it would cost to buy one from their supplier. It's fiberglass though instead of aluminum. The size we are needing is 21 x 70 to fit in the preframed area of our trailer without having to cut or revamp any bracing. The core assembly is listed as: "Damage resistant fiberglass exterior and interior surfaces. Strong extruded aluminum core surround protects the core edge from damage .Pre cambered steel lock stile and adjustable strike plate ensure a positive seal. High quality knob/lever lock is standard. Optional flush and safety locks are available." Would this work for a walk through door addition to an aluminum trailer? Maybe 4-5 times a year we use the first horse stall for a horse, but I want to make sure the door will hold up to occasional bumping.

Your going to be happier in the long run, after price has been forgotten with the OEM door.  Firberglass doors are probably not going to take the abuse that the Mfr. door will over the long haul.  You will also have better resale on your trailer, if it looks factory versus "added later" look.  Do it right the first time, and you'll be happier in the long haul.

Thanks for the response. The dealership will order an OEM door as well, from a place they said they get all their add ons cause it costs less (it won't be from the manufacturer of our trailer). I contacted the manufacturer directly to get a price and we are considering going that route as well since their door is made specifically for our brand of trailer and is only about $40 more than the one the dealership quoted us. Just trying to be as informed as possible before forking out the money.
