Equine Transportation Acceptance Company (ETAC) has shut down.

Some of the dealers using them have not been funded for sold trailers and the customers who purchased extended warranties are out the money they paid.

Be sure and check that your title and registration work was finished before they closed!! Very important.

Does anyone have a loan through First Internet Bank of Indiana?

It is happening to us and our coustomer. The employees at ETAC have givin inforamtion to FBI and others like Attornys general of many states. At this time there are about 16 dealers out about $600,000 + buyers that cant get the titles + taxes not paid that ETAC has stole. YOu ccan call our leagl people or the states of Or, Oh , In and Wi . In most deal if you bought insurance deals you have none none.

Yes you did see all the ETAC people at the Congress. They were trying to sell deals knowing that they would not be funded and leave the buyer and dealers stuck. I owuld guess that there are about 30 dealers and private parties stuck for a lot of money. The big question did ETAC work for the bank or the dealer. AS for the insurance money unless goverment agencey steps in we are all had. Yes Sundowner people did or do have some control of ETAC nice realtionship.

To my knowledge, Sundowner no longer has anything to do with ETAC.  They haven't owned any part of E-TAC for several years.  In fact they haven't done any business with them for quite some time.
