Subject: Replacing aluminum floor

I have a 2001 Kiefer trailer needing floor repair or replacement. Is it possible to replace an aluminum floor with a wood floor? Looking for a more reasonable option compared to new aluminum.

Thanks!

Maybe- on a trailer that old, there were multiple models Kiefer made. Thus the supports may be different. But generally aluminum needs more support than a quality 2"x6" treated wood board. And some mfg, used tongue and groove boards to add support to flexing. But those can be hard to find.
On an aside, Rumber requires more support than wood or aluminum. So don't think about that route unless you plan to add crossmembers.
