Hi There- I am shopping for trailers- I am soon to go look at a Keifer Built Genesis-'05' Has anyone seen them structually taken apart? Are they sturdy and safe? Any feedback on where to go for statistics appreciated.

Hi and Welcome to the Forum.

I've looked at Keifers, though not that specific model.
They appear to be well constructed, but just about ANY horse trailer COULD be ripped apart by the wrong accident (not that any accidents are "right").

Can you be a bit more specific about "Sturdy enough ?" ?
Sturdy enough for what ?
Expect rollover accidents to be disastrous anyway.
Do you have a kicker ?
Most trailer warranties don't cover kick damage AFAIK.

Hi Loki, and welcome. We had a Keifer some years ago and loved it. Keifer's seem to be well built, from my experience.

Good luck with your search.

There is one (An '05) not too far from me here in Ohio. She's only trying to get payoff out of it. Nice trailer!
