Location: Floyd's knobs, in | Just looking for opinions. I'm going to trade in my 3H Exiss for a 2H with bigger LQ than I have now. I have limited turn around, storage area so I'm looking at 20 ft box. I am looking at Exiss, Lakota, Sooner, and Sundowner. Can y'all rate these in terms of Quality.? All opinions are appreciated. Thanks |

| Yes, Charliegirl, I love my Lakota. I bought it from Dixie Horse and Mule in Alabama because there were no dealers at the time in NC. Now there is a big dealer here. I researched and researched and I love 4 stars but the LQs were just really "blah" looking to me. Lakota used to build RVs and their interiors are really nice and much warmer and richer looking, and in my opinion, they are the best looking LQs on the market. I have two friends that have bought Lakotas since I did and they love them. They are a lot more popular now than they were then. The trailer is extremely well built and has held up very well. I do take exceptional care of my equipment though. The only thing that I have had go wrong with the trailer is a cracked air conditioner cover (I think I may have done that on a tree branch) and twice the gas control to the refrigerator has stopped working but both times it was because a mud dauber (insect) had filled up the orifice with mud. It just had to be blown out with air. Sweet trailer! Compact and easy as heck to maneuver.
I hope you find just what you want. I have loved my Lakota and am only selling because i am out of horses after 40 years and hitting the road with my husband in an RV. |

Location: Belton, MO | I love my 2 horse Sooner. Love the drop down windows on the butt side. Love the entireSiera LQ. I made sure i had a large fridge. linen closet is nice and i prefer couch over dinette. Wish i would have had a electric awning put on it but it came with a manual one which if fine. |

Location: Floyd's knobs, in | APM, Thanks for your opinion. I've been looking and the Lakota interior is just so much nicer than the others. There is so much information out there it's easy to get bogged down, so it's great to hear from someone who has had one and loved it. My riding group has changed, we're getting older, and tend to spend more time around camp. It will be nice to have a pretty trailer to hang out in. Good luck to you and the Hubby in your travels, sounds like fun. |

Location: Floyd's knobs, in | I found a 2016 Sooner at a dealership 200+ miles away. It looks good online, I haven't managed to make that drive yet. I'm also trying to decide if I want the larger fridge or more cabinet space. Thanks for your input. Happy Trails |

Location: NW | I bought a barely used 2013 Sooner Premier last year and love it. It is 8' wide, 7 1/2' tall, the air flow dividers & drops all around - plus the horse area is also insulated. I think the horses like their area as much as I love the LQ! Got it with a slide, couch, full bath, big fridge (was one of my requirements), and has 2 TV's (which we don't need but is handy when we are in civilization.) I am very happy with it & the quality of the construction of it. |
