Location: New Jersey | I currently have a lower cost aluminum skinned/steel framed 3 horse slant load. I do some local shows, but every year make a long trip NJ to FL. I don't feel like my trailer is holding up well so am looking for a more "industrial strength" brand. What brands do you recommend... and what about Adam, Shetron, Jamco, Keifer,and Colin-Arndt? Would you go for an older 4 Star or C&C? I'm going to be looking for used, not new... |

Location: Penrose, Colorado | my personal choice is the C& C Platinum, Elite,4 star and a few others, the years I would want would be pre 2007, there are alot of so called older trailers out there that are by far better than most of the brand new ones that I see. Look for your self and you will see the difference in them. |

Location: NC | i was having a similar problem finding a well made heavy duty trailer. i did come across shetron custom trailers, i took a tour of their facility and saw a trailer that was being built from the ground up and i was very impressed with the strength of materials and the workman ship that i saw. needless to say i ordered my own trailer and had it built exactly how i wanted. they also off a 10 year structural warranty so it's obvious the believe they they can withstand the rough and tough. |

Location: rapid city sd | Sorry you missed Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo this year. Its an awesome rodeo event and if you walk through where the cowboys and girls have there trailers parked just see what they pull. There are more than a few with 500,000 miles on them since a lot of them go 50,000 plus miles a year. You can ask them about what they are pulling and why and what not to pull. I promise they will tell without hesitation. The C&C, Elite, Platinum, and 4 Star out number everything else by triple. Some Bloomers. I did see an Eby at Belle Fourche SD during slack over the 4th but there were probably 100 trailers. |
