I have a 2012 F350 crew cab with a regular bed (6' 10"). When I bought it, I intended to get a simple 2H gooseneck trailer with dressing room and aero-nose. Now I'm thinking about getting a trailer with small living quarters, most of which are snub-nosed. I'm concerned about maneuverability with that truck/trailer combo. Does anyone haul with a similar rig? What are your experiences with cab clearance? Thank you!

Sorry, I just mean a trailer that has a gooseneck bulkhead that is not tapered.

I have a B&W turnoverball hitch and I believe they make a 10" extender for it, but I can't imagine it was intended for the weight of a horse trailer.

I have a 2008 F250 crew cab regular bed and have hauled both flat and aero nosed gooseneck trailers (Featherlite and Sundowner) with B&H turnover ball. No problems at all.

We have a F350 SB with a B&W 4" offset "adapter" (http://www.etrailer.com/Balls/B-and-W/BWGNXA4685.html?feed=npn&gclid=CJ7w4o3XmcYCFY17fgode6cC0g) works really well: our trailer is not a full 8ft wide, but we can still make almost 90 degree turns. It might help to sketch it out on a piece of paper to roughly see the max angle you would be able to achieve (this will dimishis if there is a pitch between truck and trailer, backing up/down hill)
