Location: East Tennessee, USA, Planet Earth | Hi...they think it was the fridge. I guess they heard the woman owner say her husband had been trying to fix the fridge for a while. She mentioned that there was some sort of electric short. They couldn't touch the wall next to the fridge without getting shocked.
IMHO....CRAZY.
I would not have used that fridge.
Really glad no one was hurt!! |

Location: Wis. | I am 20 minutes from Wildcat and stay there frequently. I am so glad that someone was also camping there at the time. If not familiar with this CG the ranger station is not located on the campground, its up the road probably 5 minutes or so. Also there is not a phone on the campground and terrible cell reception, unless you climb up some of the side hills. Thankfully this did not turn into a tragedy for these people and props go to the other campers who were able to rescue the dogs. I couldn't imagine loosing my pets in something like this, trailers can be replaced. Good job. |
