THERE IS NO AC ON THE TRAILER SO, WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A ROOF TOP ONE DO TO THAT THERE IS ALREADY A VENT ON TOP SO WE WOULD ONLY HAVE ONE HOLE TO DEAL WITH INSTEAD OF TWO. WE REALLY DO NOT WANT TO PUT A WINDOW AC IN AND MAKE ANOTHER HOLE. THE DRESSING AREA IS NOT THAT LARGE THE SHORT WALL IS 38" SO WE WOULD JUST NEED SOME THING SMALL TO COOL THE AREA AND NOT SPEND A LOT OF MONEY. IT IS ALSO A STEEL TRAILER IF THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE OR NOT.

WOULD LIKE TO HEAR YOUR SUGGESTIONS.

You will need a 14" square hole in your roof for the AC installation. This is the standard size of many vents. Your roof structure will have to be reinforced to carry the additional 100# of localized weight, and its stresses when you're bouncing down the road. You will need an electrical source and outlet near the AC unit. Some smaller capacity units need only a 15 amp circuit.

It doesn't matter if your trailer is AL or steel, the installation requirements are similar.
